Honestly, who still uses them? It turned out I needed it, and in my 30s I found myself putting an album together with my hands and not just brushing it. For what I need, this worked very well. We printed most of our photos on standard paper and some photos on photo paper to fit in the album. Both stick well to the sides. The album is very easy to use, just peel back the cellophane top to reveal the sticky side. From there, place your photos and fold back the cellophane top. The adhesive sides are quite sticky and will hold the photos in place. If you fold the top back, you must do it carefully to avoid bubbles. It seals the page well. It's also very easy to add more pages. In fact, only two screws need to be loosened and tightened again. The album itself looks beautiful. Similar to the ones we had as kids (if you are over 30). It has an almost nostalgic aura. I wouldn't call it cheap either. Very solid look. It can only be used for photos, I wouldn't try to add anything textured. Anything that looks like a scrapbook isn't actually translated. Use it for photos. Very happy with the album. Gave us exactly what we needed and was easy.
