I usually buy products based on other people's reviews but we were desperate, more like our dog was desperate for a solution to her allergy. Obsessive licking, chronic smelly ear infections, and fungal infections in her girly parts are PAINFUL and annoying to look at and smell. And to keep her from scratching and biting until she bled, she had to wear a pubic cone for most of the last year! We have taken her to the vet twice in the last 12 months and changed her food several times and she is still worse. So I took a chance and bought this test. Getting a sample of her saliva was fairly easy as the instructions were clear and easy to follow. I sent it in and we emailed the results two weeks later, just like they said. MY GOD! Our dog is allergic to lamb, lima beans and pork! No wonder she got worse, her latest dog food uses lamb as the main ingredient - it says so right on the packet - because the vet recommended lamb over beef. So I just bought a new, high-quality bag of dog food with healthy ingredients, no lamb, lima beans, or pork. Let's see how it goes! I will give an update in a few weeks.
