Read the horror stories of people who got it with no lid and no hardware. Aside from getting ripped out, I'm not sure how to do it. The equipment was in a pocket that was fastened with clips and glued to the lid. The lid was in a plastic bag taped to the inside of one half of the case. I've had a heck of a lot of time to free them up to use them. How it can get away I'm not sure. Those who say that iron pulls through plastic I consider "operator error". The plastic case isn't that thick, but it's perfectly adequate. If you overtighten the nut, the screw head may well break through the plastic. BUT the nuts are NyLoc type so don't over tighten them. Just tighten them enough that the bolt and nut can't move and that's enough. He won't budge, so they use the nuts they make. I don't see a problem, your mileage may vary.
