Changing the scale is not easy
It was difficult to change the Celsius scale to Fahrenheit. Follow directions but had to remove batteries about 1/2 dozen times before it got stuck. Large, easy-to-read temperature display. Too bad I can't turn off the beep, it's a bit loud. So far it works fine (2 days in)
