This stuff really works. I've had trouble constantly cleaning my Vicks Cool Mist humidifier. It became foamy and the suction filter became brownish and crusted. I used the manufacturer recommended tank cleaning cartridges and they lasted maybe two weeks (the advertised disinfection month was stretched IMO). Given the price, that's not enough for me. I use my humidifiers CONSTANTLY in the winter, and I'm tired of changing the absorbent filters and cleaning out the pan under the tank all over the week - I'm a busy girl on a budget. Read the reviews of this product and decide to give it a try. It really works. I add 5ml to the tank every time I fill it up (once a day) and I NO MORE SEEING AN ATTACK/BIOFILM forming on any part of the bowl, on the filter or in the tank. No discoloration. I wish I had a before photo, but in the attached picture my absorbing filter looks like AT LEAST a month of constant use. Clean and wet. Before using this product after the same time I have always seen discoloration in the filter. I was also happy to see the large bottle size. I always expect to receive product bottles that are much smaller than I expected. That's enough for a long time - easily for one winter and then for several more. I keep it just under the sink where I fill the tank along with a 5ml syringe (I work in a lab). Very easy. Don't waste your time on anything else. ps I don't write reviews so I was very impressed by this product.
