when i opened the package i was so disappointed it must have been chipboard so cardboard strong and rigid. So I tried carving my letters onto the soft mat anyway and they were so brittle when I peeled them off the mat that I was afraid they would break. When I finally took it off, it reminded me of an accordion or one of those jewels that open the folds. When it says "board," expect something hard, not paper. Complete robbery

I expected a good and thick chipboard but I got a thick chipboard colored cardboard which was overpriced. I was trying to make a photo book out of paper, it was so flimsy that I tried gluing two sheets together with a quality glue that I've used for years. The paper was crumpled, it looked awful. That's fine if you want the punch to protrude, but you can get the same result with an empty cereal box and save money. Don't buy it if you're thinking of making sturdy photo books.

Very disappointed with the weight of this product. Based on the answers to the questions put to the seller and the product description, I was expecting a light to medium particle board. Never in all my years of work have I seen such a light paper disguised as chipboard. I wouldn't attribute that to chipboard. I will be using this to cut out decorations but it cannot be used as book covers. It's thicker than heavy than 110wt cardboard, but hardly.
