One of the front fenders on my 2006 Tacoma fell apart on Monday so I went online and read some reviews and ordered a set of Husky fenders. It's Wednesday, and around two-thirty, a Postbus with new fenders arrives. I read the instructions, poured myself a glass of iced tea, pulled out a stool and tools, and set to work. The new liners were on the truck two hours after delivery. It took so long because I'm quite methodical, I had to spend some time rummaging around the shed looking for a machine screw that had rusted from a truck and also calming my dog who was outraged by the cat's Neighbors are investigating the project. The new flaps fit perfectly and are better than the originals in my opinion. As some people have pointed out, the front flaps don't hang as low as the factory ones, but that's not a disadvantage: I always thought the originals were too long, and I'm pretty sure that's one of the reasons mine have broken. The Husky material is also thicker than the originals which I think will make them more durable. Those are nice looking fenders. Some people have mentioned screw terminal issues but I have no idea what they are talking about. I just followed the instructions which were as short and simple as possible and everything fit 1-2-3 except for a rusted mounting bolt which I had to replace. By the way, don't let my torment with a rusty screw bother you. It's all about me and what happens to every truck that's been driven and stored in bad weather for 11 years. I was a little surprised that the product description mentioned compatibility with fender flares as I don't have these things on my truck and didn't know if they were made specifically to only work with them. Don't worry, fenders are great without fender flares. I am very happy with the quality and fit of the product and the ease with which it snaps into place. If you need to replace your old fenders or just want to put something better than stock on your truck, buy a set of these.
