Stop! Do not buy this product. It's not safe to wait for a fire. I've used this kettle a few times a day for the past few months. The auto-off function does not work. The pot nearly boiled over while I was working on a project in another room. Now to use the kettle you need to turn it on and off to turn it off. I would have sent it back but stupidly I threw away all the packaging after the first use. I will never make that mistake again.
