I turned this lighter on when it arrived and it worked but if you held it for more than 20 seconds it stopped working and wouldn't start again until it did was charging (as if it was some sort of reset as the battery still said it was ok) - so I figured it was ok, I think it's a safety feature. It's been on my desk for a month and has never been used apart from the first test when I bought it, so now a month later I'm off to fire up my BBQ; and it didn't even spark so i charged it and after a few tries it fired once and that's it - the battery lights don't even come on. I would have preferred the company to replace it and give it a second chance, but Revane said the return window is already closed so my only option is to write a negative review and it seems well deserved. I do not recommend anyone to buy this product.
