Barefoot is cool! Changes posture and running technique. You will be forced to use your toes to walk which is amazing. Bad god, they make your feet stink! They are so warm that I have worn them on the icy ground for over an hour and only the tips of my toes get cold. I had to wear socks underneath to keep from sweating and smelling a bit. But they've got a few miles on them (100 or so) and when I've worn the soles down to the point where I need new ones, it's an automatic purchase. 1 star for the support. Those are sandals! That is the point! Doesn't support, softens up a bit and offers excellent protection from sharp objects, but no support. Hooray.
