This is a beautiful set of colored watercolor pencils. After drying, they are like any other colored pencils. But you can dip colored lead in water to soften it. Or use a wet paintbrush for endless color blending, blending, and blending possibilities. 72 colors is awesome. I would prefer the pencils to be colored on the outside with the colors of the lead on the inside. It really helps identify colors quickly. Instead, all pins are dark blue. And only the ends show the true color of the pencil lead. Pencils have a triangular shape, do not roll, they are comfortable in the hand. I sharpen my pencils in my electric sharpener when they are completely dry and they come out great. The set comes in a nice hinged case, but mine arrived slightly crumpled (no problem with the product). It also comes with a small brush to get you started. My kids love this set! It is ideal for use in entertainment or art classes.
