This air intake is definitely better than the original, but at this price point, design and attention to detail were still relevant concepts. the lid is not the same as in the photo, i wanted a polished aluminum lid but oh well. while it works! The intake is also very tight. The biggest problem I have is the air intake doesn't match the factory air intake on the inner fender. Another thing is that the box is not sealed as one might think. Instead of just custom making a box with flanges, you simply get undercut flexible section gaskets (similar to a universal hood gasket). as a result, the duct is not completely sealed both on the inside of the wing and on the engine side (air inlet and outlet). I like the dry filter option / hope it's as good as the 4 year 100,000km warranty. I haven't driven it many miles yet, but the sound of the truck sounds TERRIBLE! will be updated with fuel consumption in a few weeks if available.
