good goal. More installation issues but better goals.

I like that it doesn't stretch, doesn't step over the pole on the floor and attaches to the walls. Installing this gate takes much longer, you need to drive screws into the wall. They include a template to make installation as easy as possible, but will definitely take longer to install than a snap fit gate. But much more stable. A 2-year-old child lowered the tension grid. This stays in place. This was a larger gate, our opening was the maximum width listed for other products. I couldn't use them, they didn't completely cover the hole. This one is wider. Runs smoothly and closes securely. One thing was that an open gate tends to swing and stop, partially blocking the hall. I put a "cow magnet" in a block of wood and attached it to the wall. The cow magnet is relatively large and not too strong. You don't want to use small or super strong magnets around children. In addition to the choking hazard, 2 strong swallowed magnets can stick to each other in the baby's intestines. Powerful magnets cut off the blood supply to the trapped tissue, and then perforation occurs, requiring emergency life-saving surgery. The cow magnet is too big to swallow and strong enough to open the gate without exposing the child to the dangers of strong magnets. Cow magnets are used for cattle, they sit in the stomach and then catch ingested iron/steel pieces such as staples and nails.
