Judging by the reviews curvy women like them, I'm not that curvy but they're not baggy so don't hang/sit out of place (5 size 3 inches, 128 lbs , bought a medium size). The material is very soft, not too thin and not thick, it holds up well. I love the pockets along the hips, when not in use they don't spoil the front look. Shorts and when needed they hold a decent amount, and the zip closure keeps things secure. The elastic waistband with drawstring sits at the natural waist and is very comfortable. I don't really like the waist look but I don't tuck shirts into shorts/bermudas so it's not a problem and I think the waist design is why they fit and hang so well. The color on offer was my favorite color too this was a win.
