Review on 🌑️ ACDelco 213-928 Multi-Purpose Temperature Sensor: Genuine GM Original Equipment for Optimal Performance by Joseph Flamm

A simple solution to the problem of difficult starting, fast idling, rich fuel mixture.

OEM identical to a 1991 Chevy 1500 Silverado 350 in fit and finish. For a while the truck started poorly. Sometimes I had to press the accelerator pedal to the floor to start driving, then I had to lift the pedal until the engine died. Recently it has started to stall quickly, but otherwise works fine. Finally, about a week ago, after warming up, it died as soon as I gave it some gas. By spinning the accelerator all the way I was able to restart it fairly easily, but fog (unburned gas) came out. The truck was clearly flooded (this tbi truck engine appears to be one of those designed to clean the intake by shutting off the fuel when the pedal is pressed to the floor so it will start with the pedal on the ground starts). I had to disconnect one of the two injectors (unplug one injector) to keep the truck running long enough to get off the road (work on one nozzle worked, while two had the engine stall, which suggests too much indicates fuel). . Enter). If you have good spark at the plugs, timing is correct, compression is good, fuel is flowing and the air filter is clean enough (and you otherwise have a good start) - it's most likely a non-start/bad problem Start / Ground requires are set. Easy to fix. Be careful removing the plug - if it's as old as mine, the latch is fragile. Unclip the old CTS so it can be rotated by hand, then quickly replace with a new one. When the engine is cold, the loss of coolant should not be greater than the rated value (if the engine is warm, release the pressure first). A suitable tool is a 19mm deep hex, but a 3//4 hex works well. With this new CTS my Silverado runs like new and I expect to improve my fuel economy significantly with this new ACDelco 213-928 CTS.
