Review on 🐾 Enhanced Richell Premium Plus Freestanding Pet Gate with Door by Nina Lucero

Love this gate. I just wish it wasn't so expensive. I've spent quite a bit of time looking for a free standing gate with one door. I was surprised that most of the freestanding gates were short and had no door. You must step over them to overcome them. I was concerned that many of them just weren't big enough to prevent my little fella (8.5 lb toy breed) from jumping over them. And I really didn't like the idea of stepping over it every time. I'm a small person and if I were to carry something it would be difficult for me and I could imagine it getting annoying very quickly. So I spent the money and got this gate about 7 months ago. I'm not disappointed. It's important to note that the legs stick out quite a bit from the gate. I understand this is necessary for stability, but it means the gate takes up a bit more space and you have to be careful not to trip over it. We put a gate at the bottom of the stairs to keep our fluffy baby from climbing up. Attached is a photo with the door open. The adjustable side panels are great too because you can wrap them around the stair like we did or straighten them and block a fairly large opening. The best part is that you can pick up and move this gate around quickly and easily as it doesn't need to be attached to anything. Note: Since the gate doesn't fully span our stairs, we need to place some items, like large books, between the bottom spindles of our stairs as our little fella will get through them! Nevertheless, I'm buying a second goal now because we really like them.
