My mom adopted a 4.5 pound Yorkie from a shelter who keeps barking at everyone who walks past her apartment. I bought him as an alternative to a real stun collar to curb his behavior. The collar works as described, is easy to use and most importantly fits his small neck. The only downside is that the device itself is large on the neck but not intrusive. The collar doesn't dampen his barking habits, but he's quite a stubborn pup. I think half the problem is that my mother doesn't have the training required to work with a correction collar. You can't just throw it around your neck and expect miracles. You have to work with them and teach them what correction means.
