Review on 🔋 RadioShack Emergency Radio: Stay Connected with NOAA Alerts, Solar Panel, Hand Crank, USB Charging, Flashlight & Cell Phone Charger by Mark Walsh

This little radio arrived just in time for the NOAA NWS/SPC overnight Level 5 severe weather forecast. I loaded it up and found the right NOAA station for my area. I listened for a few minutes, then flipped the switch to ALERT and went to bed. . . . . oh yes it works, good! The alarm went off in the middle of the night; scared me to death with a noise I wasn't expecting (sounded like something out of a sci-fi movie). But hey – it definitely got my attention. I am sincerely grateful that there were no local strong storm surges (this time). We're gearing up for another round this week (it's spring after all) and I hope and trust that my little radio will come to my rescue again. So far I can recommend this radio. There were only 8 reviews but they were all 5🌟 and this is a Radio Shack product. I hope the company continues to produce this little radio to the highest standards. People need a weather radio they can rely on.
