We will be using this toy for likely years to come. At first our daughter, who was nine months old when we introduced it, just loved trying to take the eggs apart (though some were stiff and needed to be opened and shut together a few times to be easy enough for her limited dexterity). By ten months, she was trying to put them back together. At a year, she is beginning to recognize the colors need to match. We have them out of rotation right now and will reintroduce in a month to see what new method she has for playing with them.I also used them with a four year old while visiting and we made a matching game out of them by arranging the halves in a grid with the shape side down. TONS of fun, and a great activity across age groups.Lastly, the carton and eggs are all great quality. We love the different colors and how the eggs snap together easily but don’t just fall apart.
