Review on TireMinder Solar Powered Trailer TPMS by Henry Brown

I installed the Solar Trailer TireMinder TPMS kit on 4 trailer tires before driving about 3500 miles to Alaska. The kit proved excellent during the 7 days trip in various weather and road conditions. However, on several occasions when driving off a paved surface on loose gravel, the monitor momentarily displayed "nS" (no signal) from a tire. As noted in the manufacturer's documentation, this can happen in the described road conditions, but after a few kilometers the tire signal appeared on the monitor again. The ability to monitor trailer tire pressure and temperature provided an extra layer of safety while driving and significantly reduced the likelihood of costly damage to the trailer tires or wheels.
