Just open the vent before this purchase!
Very simple and easy installation. Lift the lid, remove the entire black vent cover, put the black plastic piece on top first, then the filter, then put the lid back on and you're done! (I didn't put mine in, just put mine in) I feel better knowing I have a pretty big hole that's closed now. Not bad for the money.
