I was pleasantly surprised for several reasons. • The size corresponded exactly to the table. Cycling shorts often come in inconsistent and unusual sizes. Let's add that these are sizes converted from non-US sizes and this could potentially be completely wrong. It turns out absolutely right, even better than what I've bought from other, more established bike clothing companies in the past. • The pad is nicely finished, the crotch pad is a little thoughtful at first but once you put it on you hardly notice it. Very comfortable and nice on the seat. I don't do long trips but for a few hours it was great. • The outer shorts are lighter than I'm used to from mountain bike shorts, but totally comfortable. They are more like light training shorts or sports shorts, but at the same time they look high quality. i like the weight I wish it had a different bag. It has two large zippers but would like one more. I trade lightness for a bag. However, keep in mind that they may not be as "tough" as some are used to when driving through bushes or the like. I usually stay on trails or trails, so that's not a problem for me. • Balaclava and shorts are separate items, although they zip together. This makes the set very comfortable, moves perfectly with you and easy to wash. Less bulky than my old shorts. In general I am very happy with them.
