Review on LG 32UL500-W Display - FreeSync Compatible 31.5" 4K UHD, Wall Mountable, 32UL500W, HD by Aaron Dewald

Great 4K monitor. The front panel measures 33 inches diagonally. The screen diagonal is 31.5 inches. The front panel is 0.50 inch wide (top, bottom and sides). The back of the monitor is all white and the front of the monitor (frame) is black. The front panel is also black on the side about 0.50 inch deep. You can't see the white back wall in front of the monitor at all. I like that all parameters can be adjusted with the mini joystick under the bottom of the bezel (middle position under the bezel). Click up (in) to launch the monitor or select items. Left, right, forward or backward. Menu items appear on the monitor. The monitor is anti-glare, but I'd rather have a clear one than an anti-glare one as the image is a little blurry. Still checking. The text is very sharp, but some of my videos are a bit blurry. Photos are also very clear. I think I need to work on my camcorder settings. There are stereo speakers, quite loud. When I first turned on the monitor, I thought there were no speakers at all! Panic set in but I found the initial volume to be low. I have connected external powered speakers to the headphone jack. Internal speakers are disabled when headphones are plugged in (and of course when external speakers are plugged in). There are no SPDIF and USB ports. There are 2 HDMI ports. I love this monitor. This is my first 4K monitor. Eventually I will use it for video editing. The price was great. There is no USB-C port. I'm running this monitor with an Aorus 2080 Super graphics card. The monitor also has Smart Start so it turns on when I turn on the computer. I use this monitor in a brightly lit, sunny room at a 90 degree angle to a large window (64" wide x 49" high). The brightness is set at 46 out of 100 full scale values.
