I spent a lot of time trying to find a lightbulb that could compete with the tube blacklights of my high school/college days and until this bulb came out I had my doubts that a true blacklight experience could be achieved without tube technology. . . But this lightbulb definitely changed my mind! I don't know if it's correct to say it's light because it's black, but what shines under its ultraviolet rays definitely shines like the sun. (Or, I think, like an eerie, spooky sun.) The lamp fits in a regular socket, and although I made a lamp for it, I've used it in my desk lamp a lot. And the boy makes things shine! I bought a glow in the dark color to pair with this black light and after just a few moments in its dark embrace the color stays energized most of the night. Also from the back wall of my bedroom anything that is white or even a little fluorescent is very bright and I love it! actually hello). However, I'm in the middle of a move right now, so we'll see how it ends. However, judging by how solid and sturdy it feels in hand, I have no doubt it will survive. And even if it doesn't, I'll probably just buy another one. The only thing that worries me is that the bulb gets very hot. At first I was afraid to walk for a long time. But then, after getting distracted by other things a few times and leaving the lights on for a few hours, there seems to be an upper temperature threshold he doesn't cross. It doesn't melt the plastic it sits in or anything like that. However, it can melt flesh a bit, so be careful with it after it's turned on. All in all, this is the best black light I've ever bought!
