I'm probably one of the few people I know that still uses a DVD player/recorder. For me, a portable DVD player is great for burning and loading discs. I do a lot of video editing and recently bought a new laptop and wanted to install some of my old programs and some drivers for the old programs that I have. Haven't had this product long but so far so good. It's very quiet. My old external DVD player was very loud. I like the way it looks. It looks like something from the Deus EX video game, especially in later games. I like the style of this game and I like the style of this one. The travel case it comes in is convenient for storage and travel. So far it's working fine, but I haven't had it that long and haven't tried burning discs yet. So if I run into any problems over the next few months, I'll post here.
