The first thing I love about this portable monitor is the magnetic carrying case/lid. If you're thinking about why you're buying this monitor, it's that it's portable. Carrying a portable monitor without a case runs the risk of damaging the monitor unless you have another laptop case or a case with a second compartment for a second laptop and I don't have a large laptop case. The monitor has HDR and AMD Freesync and good viewing angles as it is an In-Plane Switching (IPS) monitor. The monitor has a fairly bright screen and two USB-C ports that can be used for either power or input, but no power output. . The monitor comes in nice packaging but includes all the cables needed to connect the monitor - a USB-A to USB-C cable, a USB-C to USB-C cable, an HDMI -to-mini HDMI cable and a USB3A charger. The complaints I have about the monitor are firstly that you cannot adjust anything on the monitor if you have no signal to the monitor otherwise it goes into sleep mode and none of the controls are available. Normal desktop monitors in sleep mode can be woken up to change settings on the monitor, but not on this one. I tried USB-C input for video with my USB-C input port multiplier and couldn't get the monitor to work with USB-C video. It works with other monitors but not this one, it may not be compatible with a specific docking station. The monitor is a bit more expensive than other monitors but has good coverage and freesync support.
