Review on Ruvihya Portable 15.6" Touchscreen Monitor with 10-Point Touch, 60Hz, Flicker-Free, Frameless Design, Built-In HD Speakers by John Murphy

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Beautiful, color-accurate display that needs a bit more brightness

This 15.6-inch portable monitor from Ruvihya measures 14.39 x 8.8 x 0.34 and weighs around 1.5 pounds, although the product description says it weighs 4 pounds. This 15.6 inch portable monitor from Ruvihya features a full-featured IPS 1080 panel with 100% sRGB color gamut. I've been using this Ruvihya 15.6 inch portable monitor with my ASUS Zenbook Duo laptop for about a month. Even though my laptop has two screens, when the Adobe software is open, both displays are used to access the unique touch control panel built into the ScreenPad Plus software. So when I watch and follow a tutorial I need another display with accuracy colors . Accuracy at this price point is the best reason to buy this Ruvihya 15.6 inch portable monitor. I was impressed by the amount of accessories that came with it. While many big brands remove items from the boxes they sell, Ruvihya provides its customers with everything they need to connect this monitor to most other devices. Ruvihya even includes a smart cover to protect the monitor during shipping. This 15.6-inch portable monitor from Ruvihya isn't perfect, as it's not bright enough to work outdoors or in very well-lit rooms. Moreover, this Ruvihya 15.6 inch portable monitor also adopts 16:9 vs. 16:10 aspect ratio. What I liked most about this Ruvihya 15.6 inch portable monitor is: - color accuracy - portability - connectivity - price. My least favorite thing about this Ruvihya 15.6-inch portable monitor: Brightness. Although not specifically stated, at 250 nits this monitor seems to be as bright as other displays in my house. I can't quantify my claim as I don't have the sensors needed to measure brightness, but that was my observation. - aspect ratio. The 16:10 ratio offers much more screen real estate for the same area and I wonder why other manufacturers haven't adopted it. While you shouldn't expect a sub-$170 monitor to be modern, I'd be willing to pay a little more for this monitor if it had a 16:10 aspect ratio. All in all, if you're looking for a color-accurate portable monitor to take to work, school, or just for a more immersive phone experience, then this 15.6-inch Ruvihya portable monitor should definitely be on your radar stand. This Ruvihya 15.6-inch portable monitor offers a rich visual experience, is value for money and can work without an outlet with a 20000+mAh battery that enables fast charging. However, this 15.6-inch portable monitor from Ruvihya has chosen to compromise on brightness to offer a beautiful display. 4.0 out of 5.0
