This thing is huge! Be warned. I'm installing it on my desk and it is going to require a sacrifice of more space than I thought. That is okay, I suppose. The biggest down side is that it is made entirely of plastic. There is nothing metallic about this product, save its insides. And discovering how it opened was a shock. It pulls up, it does not "spring" up, which is also a disappointment. I cannot say how rigid this is going be, or if it will last long. I have my doubts. Hopefully, I'm not drilling a massive hole in my desk for nothing. Suppose I could always mount a garbage disposal under there if/when this thing kicks the bucket. Kidding. But not really.
