I tried it myself with 24-105 4L, so if you shoot a photo in the tracking with 22mm 2.0 STM there will be misses, but in the video everything is cool, he just does it very smoothly and apparently does not have time in photo mode. The focus works almost in the dark and the viewfinder can see everything better than with your eyes) Further . the video shooting is super, the detail is excellent, the convenience of the swivel screen, focus point selection and picking for manual lenses makes this camera very convenient for shooting video, even weddings, even advertising!
