To make sure it worked, I told one of my students to try stopping my bike. As he did so, the alarm clock went off. Big! I double checked and asked one of my colleagues to steal my bike. The alarm went off. About two weeks later I went to the grocery store. I locked my bike with a chain and then turned on the alarm. The security guard and an elderly man nearby thought the alarm was cool and asked if it worked. I told the old man to try and steal my bike. This man rode my bike all over the parking lot. 😩 I almost thought he wouldn't give my bike away lol. However, we all left disappointed. The guard told me to take another chain. The alarm clock was fully charged so I don't know why it didn't go off, but this discrepancy worries me.
