I am very happy with this item as I had several old laptops that died and didn't back up everything and I was worried that I would lose precious photos that I didn't back up or attached to a saved elsewhere. This device managed to access my files and it's like opening a time capsule as some of the information dates from 2011 to 2015. I like the extra features like SD card reading, dual USB ports, and the ability to read different hard drives like SATA and those with metal pins. Inexpensive and so far very good performance.
