I've bought four of these now. I started with the larger size because I have a 30 gallon terrarium. They all fall off over time and I don't let the temp go above 86 (the minimum my snake needs in the 80's to be honest and that's the only way to get it). .) This is because I use them for their intended purpose. You should glue this to the bottom of the jar to create a hot skin for your reptile. I just do it with white space underneath, i.e. it hangs. there is no drawstring, everything is held and supported to prevent tugging. What happens is the heat melts the glue and it just falls off. I always hear them smack on the living room floor. This product is super useless and I grabbed duct tape over it. Even this size, the smallest, falls and that proved to me conclusively that the weight of the heating mat itself is not the issue. Please don't waste your money or build a setup that doesn't hang outside. This obviously doesn't work for this product (although the manual insists you should.) PS They don't have customer support, your only option is to return via Amazon. I didn't find anything to contact the seller directly so this is either not possible or hidden. If anyone finds this, I'd appreciate some help.
