We originally bought these because the valve caps that came with our machine seemed to have cracked after a few cycles of removing and replacing and they seemed OEM -To be very similar to valve covers. As it turns out they are superior to them in a number of ways: - The plastic is strong and not brittle so it appears it will survive many start and restart cycles. - The rubber seal does the job perfectly. to keep the air in the tires. We've found that now that we're using these new valve caps, we don't have to inflate the tires as often. for many years, but it is nice to know that the product is of very high quality.
