Glad I chose these

Not much to say here, I use them on a 2010 Mercedes Benz ML550 and a 2015 BMW 435i Gran Coupe and they fit without problems. I had originally considered metal caps for valve stems, but after finding enough information on how metal can warp and stick to the stem, I'm glad I decided to stick with them.

Pros
  • Great value for money
Cons
  • Some little things

Invisible valve stem style OEM

This is indeed an OEM style valve stem cap that perfectly matches my BMW's TPMS stems. The threads appear to be good and a small gasket is supposed to protect the valves from water, sand, salt etc. Some have complained that they ripped when they were put on, which I'm asking, what did you dress them with? pipe wrench? Stronger folks.

Pros
  • Set of 4
Cons
  • Can't remember

I bought these to replace some missing Mercedes OEM tire valve covers on the GLK. They are almost the same gray color and similar in size. The interior appears to have deeper threads and better sealing. I went ahead and replaced the caps on both of my machines, although I only lost 1 cap on one machine.

Pros
  • Improve the look of your wheels
Cons
  • Functionality

I wish they were longer

I bought these and other brands at the same time to see which would look better and match my tires. In the picture they looked a lot smaller and shorter than the other brands so I was sure the others would fit a lot better but they actually fitted the valve better. They don't fit completely over the valve stem, but at least they fit better. I just wish they were longer.

  • Great value
Cons
  • Quality

Ideal replacement for aluminum caps or your original gray plastic caps

I noticed that a lot of reviewers say they are used in their BMW or Mercedes vehicles with TPMS. I've noticed that all metal stem TPMS have switched to these shorter gray plastic caps. My 2009 Chevy Cobalt SS Turbo had a metal TPMS stem from the factory and they used aluminum Schrader caps back then. Apparently, aluminum caps can stick to the metal stem threads when exposed to salt, causing them to weld. I've noticed that all new cars have switched to these gray metal TPMS recoil pads as they…

Fits perfectly on my 2006 Honda Pilot

I wanted to replace all the caps on the tire air valves and they fit perfectly. I did a little research beforehand and found that Honda likes TPM (Tire Pressure Management) (1) plastic caps (not metal) and (2) caps that twist until the cap closes on top of the valve stem before the threads on the valve stem . End. If the caps are too long, they will not help seal and protect the valve pin assembly. My wife has a 2014 Honda Accord and they fit her too. Keep tire air valves weatherproof. The…

Much better than the ones that came with our machine

We originally bought these because the valve caps that came with our machine seemed to have cracked after a few cycles of removing and replacing and they seemed OEM -To be very similar to valve covers. As it turns out they are superior to them in a number of ways: - The plastic is strong and not brittle so it appears it will survive many start and restart cycles. - The rubber seal does the job perfectly. to keep the air in the tires. We've found that now that we're using these new valve caps…

Pros
  • Fits all valve stems
Cons
  • Slightly dented

Awesome cap for TPMS valve stem replacement!

I started looking for valve stem caps about two weeks ago. I inflated the tires and removed one cap at a time as usual. I added some air and put the cap back on. The cap under my car was deflated down to the last tire through the air compressor line! So I started looking online for replacements. After googling the plugs this came to my mind: 1. Good old black cap - I thought I'd just go to the local auto parts store and buy some good old black caps, but then I remembered I had TPMS sensors on…
