I noticed that a lot of reviewers say they are used in their BMW or Mercedes vehicles with TPMS. I've noticed that all metal stem TPMS have switched to these shorter gray plastic caps. My 2009 Chevy Cobalt SS Turbo had a metal TPMS stem from the factory and they used aluminum Schrader caps back then. Apparently, aluminum caps can stick to the metal stem threads when exposed to salt, causing them to weld. I've noticed that all new cars have switched to these gray metal TPMS recoil pads as they kind of match. Overall: 5/5 stars.
