Review on Komelon F12 12 Foot Stick Measure by Rodney Gonzalez

I used this rod as a ruler on my drill table. The material and backing are excellent and the marking indicators seem accurate compared to my regular tape measure. Note, however, that the width of this stick is just over 1/2 inch. In my case, I cut a 0.5" diameter groove in the table (just a few millimeters deep) to keep the tape flush with the work surface. While this wasn't too much of a problem, I had to increase the width of the body to fit the size - it's about 13mm wide, not the usual cutter size (at least in my shop). I've read in other reviews that the markings on the finish are scuffed or scratched - I hope this isn't the case in my case as it's installed in a ditch. I'll provide an update if this turns out to be the case.
