While it makes sense that this product existed, I had no idea it even existed. You see, in my working life, I want all the racks to be mapped. The hardware must be registered in the rack and the assets listed by position U in the rack. Some racks already have numbers printed on the racks, some don't (that's why Dymo label printers exist)...is this what I've been looking for all this time? Since the working environment is already taken care of, my interest in this product comes from my 28U half rack. While the positions on the A-pillars are marked, the A-pillars are not marked at all! Since all of my equipment (except for the BBU) looks the same, this was a great opportunity to use StarTech.com's rack labels. The decals look like fairly durable vinyl. The font is big enough and the stickers are not glossy. When using it the only issues were the placement and the adhesive. The decals are approximately 1/4 inch wide, so you'll need counter space or on an adjacent board for you to see the print. Also, the adhesive is flat tape type. It was nice to have foam tape backing as many of the frames are textured or powder coated. I simply used a plastic wedge meant to protect a phone screen to try to put enough pressure on the tape for the best possible grip. I am happy with the results. I recommend.
