Review on Enhance Your Connectivity with the Vantec 🔌 2+1 FireWire 800/400 PCIe Combo Host Card (UGT-FW210) by Richard Gilbert

It was installed on Windows 10 Home Edition 64-bit. No need for drivers. I'm using a Gigabyte Z390 Aorus Master motherboard for anyone interested. Open the PC case and remove a back plate protecting the PCIe slot (note that the two small pins on this Vantec card must fit into two identical female slots on the motherboard. The Firewire Vantec card lets just plug it in. The computer booted into Windows 10. Despite the instructions I don't have, I don't need a power cord and I don't need to download drivers. See attached image, there are no conflicts in Device Manager. The FireWire Device Manager should look like my picture when using Windows 10 My old (2000) Panasonic mini The DV Palmcorder (camcorder) worked great, Corel Video Studio 2019 found the device straight away and I was able to watch the video right away.
