First I used Windex and when it was dry I sprayed it with lots of soapy water. It only bubbles up if you don't trim the edges enough. It would be best if it was a little smaller than the window. I used a cheap squeegee to smooth out the bubbles. Pulling it off wasn't difficult either. I used tape on both sides to help me take it off. I put them on a few windows and now my house is cooler. I love it when my windows are open, but I hate when everyone can see what's going on in the house. It was perfect for me. It lets light through, reduces heat and you can't see inside or out.
