If it weren't infused with essential oils I would love this comb

I bought this comb for myself. Nowhere in the description does it say that the comb is impregnated with (fragrant) essential oils. If I had known that beforehand, I would not have bought it. When the comb arrived the essential oil mixture was so strong that I couldn't use it on my hair - the smell would have been transferred. The mixture doesn't smell "bad" but when I comb my hair there is a residual odor that I have to smell all day. And I REALLY don't like it. The smell of the fragrance was pleasant/normal, but with constant exposure (through my hair) I got a headache after a few hours. I bought the comb in early June and placed it next to an open window in direct sunlight and alternated with baking soda ---- trying to get the smell out. It has been on display for 2 months and the smell is still there. It has decreased but not gone away. I will give him another month in the sun and outdoors. If the smell is still there, I'll probably have to throw it out because it's just not usable - because of the lingering smell. Too bad - it's such a good comb. If it wasn't for the "built in" scent, this would be my new favorite hair product.
