***UPDATE***- The manufacturer contacted me about these concerns. After some discussion, they identified my problem as a manufacturing defect. Instead of a defective one, they sent me a completely new adapter. When opening the adapter I noticed a few differences to the original model. The gray insert (which used to fail) appears to be made of a different, more durable material. The stand that holds the monitor on the arm also seems to have been shortened and lengthened. Whatever the reasons for these changes, the mount feels significantly stronger than the previous one. It shows no signs of sagging or warping under the weight of the monitor. Their customer service team was very responsive and helpful as soon as they got in touch and I would very much happily order from this company again. First Review - Installed this mount in September 2018 with no problems. The monitor has not been moved or touched since. In February 2019, I noticed severe monitor sagging. When I disassembled the mount, I found that the inner piece of gray plastic that connects the monitor to the adapter was split completely in half and on both ends. It didn't support the weight of the monitor and the monitor could have slipped if I hadn't noticed. I contacted the manufacturer about this issue but received no response. Very disappointed as it initially looked like a great solution.
