The Perfect Wool Companion

A lot of the negative comments seem to come from people who have just used them as socks and don't know how to put them on properly while hiking. These liners are designed to be worn under a pair of wool socks, preferably Merino wool. They form a barrier between your skin and the wool material, which helps to significantly reduce friction and sweat on your feet, preventing blisters or hot spots. These insoles must be thin or your foot will not fit in your preferred shoe paired with a suitable outer sock. For those few who complain that they rip and tear easily, it can be concluded that there are three possible reasons: The balaclava was bought too small and stretched 2- The balaclava was worn with no wool or other outer sock and is through shoes Torn or 3- It's time to clip toenails and file rough spots on legs. I am an experienced hiker/hiker
