So my Volkswagen R32 came with matte aluminum vinyl wrap on various trim pieces but unfortunately one day I peeled it off in a prominent place and sure enough to be scratched had to, also on the selector lever cover. The problem is that I removed the foil from the shifter and to my dismay that foil came off with a soft textured spray. So I bought this vinyl wrap to deal with. It applies well and definitely looks done with great attention to detail. Please don't judge my life by the things on my desk. We're all just people here trying to get through this, but you can clearly see that with the right prep work, you'll do well with this packaging. Judging by the quality of this product, I may feel like a fantasy one day. and try to cover my R32 with black tape to annoy the car journalists.
