It's been about 2 months now. Easy to mount directly on the phone holder. For simplicity, I started by using the fairing's cigarette lighter socket as the power source. At the end I will route the wires to the battery terminals. In terms of performance, the charger fulfills the advertised performance. It charges my phone quickly and works flawlessly. My acid test; I was driving from northwest Indiana to central Ohio in pretty decent rain. My Samsung phone is waterproof and this wireless charger appears to be weatherproof as advertised. I had no problem running GPS and Spotify through my phone in 300+ miles of rain. I'm happy with it so far. I now hope that the durability is as good as the performance.
