Review on ๐ŸŒ€ TITAN 12V DC Double Rack Mount Ventilation Cooling Fan for Fridge Vent and Ventilation Grille - with Speed Controller, 120mm by Caleb Eichbauer

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It came as promised, undamaged and working!

Okay, the DC fans are good quality and the stand is handy, but don't believe the easy to install videos or ads. It's not VERY difficult to install, but if you're not good at such things, it might confuse you. The instructions are "universal", meaning they are so general they are almost useless, but the good news is that they are available in many languages. :) Unfortunately, the English translation was not made by a native English speaker, so it's not that clear, but sufficient and interesting to read. Also keep in mind that you need to install these fans properly (if you're using them to ventilate your fridge on wheels) to be really useful. That is, at the bottom vent, the air should blow INSIDE toward the back of the refrigerator. If your refrigerator is a drawer, the top fan should blow out of the top vent. If your fridge has a roof vent you can run a top fan, but if you are using a top fan it must be installed with UP airflow for roof venting. All this contributes to the natural convection of the air flow intended to cool the cooling coils. The instructions don't mention this, and in fact the picture on the box shows air escaping from the bottom vent, which actually prevents normal cooling airflow. The remote control is NOT a remote control, it is wired. Works well, very basic (and a little wobbly) but not remotely controllable at all which is why I gave the remote a 1.
