It's simple to use as an interface with other programs like Revit. The tool allows you to create different schedules, which are stored in separate databases so that they don't get confused or lost during revision processes. Not many options but it does what it needs to do at least well enough. I would look into some of the free add-ons available from their website to help customize the program even more. We have found this product very useful for creating and updating multiple BIM files using 12D software throughout our organization without having to keep track of several versions each time one changes.
