The device gets very hot inside and I don't think it's safe. I have no idea why he has such a high rating. If the cable contains twisted wires, they will never be securely fastened in the switch. Only after the strands were soldered to form a solid wire did they hold together. And if you think the switch is getting hot due to user error, then the device is certainly well protected. There are no instructions for it either. The device is similar to the store bought lamp I have but it feels much more powerful and doesn't get hot. The item was returned quickly.
