Update: About 1 straw out of 6 in the box I received is broken (and that's without even trying to pull any of them to bend them! ), which is unacceptable and I wouldn't order them again. You can't see if they're broken when you open the box, so don't realize it until you're ready to use them. I've used maybe 6 so far and have already had to throw away 2 because they broke above the bend area - I'll update the review if I use more but that's not a good start. The packaging wasn't in "perfect" shape when it arrived, but appeared to be in reasonable condition (= the straws weren't pinched or torn, and there was no top-to-bottom compression).
