Specifications for computer accessories and peripherals are wrong

The lack of ethical and competent marketing is a problem. There are two issues with the specs: one is a commission, the other is an omission. 1) Commission: Please refer to the attached screenshot; Under "Batteries" it says "1 lithium-ion batteries required". But nowhere in the product documentation is this mentioned. A call to Logitech support confirmed that the battery is not needed. 2) Omission: The device did not work on my MacBook Pro unless plugged directly into one of the two USB 2.0 ports on the laptop. This is not mentioned in the specifications nor in the detailed description of Revain. A Logitech support rep referred me to the Logitech Support FAQ, which says it is "highly recommended". But what he REALLY meant in our conversation was that it was the only supported configuration. And even if I'm willing to pay for a top-of-the-line Logitech webcam, the advice remains the same - just connect directly. Why not specify so I know the situation before accepting delivery? I even checked the Logitech specs (but not their support FAQs); Logitech's website also doesn't mention that a direct connection is the only way to support webcams. Scruffy. For this review, the Revain form asked me to rate the quality of the camera, autofocus, and image quality. But it's not a problem. The problem is that I thought I could connect to my Belkin USB 2.0 Multiport Adapter, but I can't - and I wasn't warned even though I checked. Note that the Belkin adapter I'm trying to connect to even supports a 4TB USB drive, which the system automatically backs up Time Machine to several times a day with no issues. But the webcam doesn't work.
