I purchased two of these products to install on my Dell T7600 workstation. This product is not intended to be installed in such a system, but it requires some effort. Long story short, I've now installed it on my system (Dual Core Xeon) and my system temperature has dropped drastically. Before installation, my processor was running at around 60°C on average. In some cases my system was shutting down due to overheating (I do a lot of heavy calculations and had to do them as intermittently as possible to avoid overheating my system). In some cases I've left the computer on overnight to do calculations and in the morning when I woke up I found my system was off. After rebooting, I got a message from the system saying it was off due to overload. Temp. After installation, my CPU is now running at 30°C, and sometimes up to 35°C, but that's all) in high demand - the computer has been up and calculating for several weeks (no, I'm not mining bitcoins, I'm researching You CFD) NOCTUA product works! It's very quiet, cools my system very efficiently - I highly recommend this line of products.
